Phoenix Computer Systems were founded in 1998 by
Mr. White. PCS were originally a small limited
company that simply designed and built economical
desktop PCs for local educational organisations. PCS were then only based in Derbyshire with a head quarters, a manufacturing plant, and a retail outlet all located around the city of Derby. Then after three sucessful years in business Mr. White then decided to expand and open several other retail outlets in the city of Manchester, Nottingham and Birmingham. PCS then soon became recognised by several large educational organisations such as Derby University and New Nottingham College, and up to present day over 100 different organisations have been supplied with equipment from PCS. PCS also continue to expand and are planning to open more retail outlets in southern England in 2004. Mr. White has remained the Chief Executive Officer of PCS, and a photo of him can be found below:
